Bleach (Burīchi) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tite Kubo.
This series of Shonen action manga revolves around the main character Ichigo Kurosaki after obtaining the power of a Soul Reaper called Rukia Kuchiki.
The powers and duties of the Soul Reaper are in fact the personifications of death. Ichigo’s brand new powers force him to take on the task of protecting humans from evil spirits and guiding lost souls into the afterlife.
The anime was repeatedly recorded in the top ten of the Japanese TV hits.
Kurosaki Ichigo, a fifteen-year-old student with orange hair who loves brawls (like his father) has the distinction of seeing ghosts as well as being able to touch them. This leads him to meet Kuchiki Rukia, a Shinigami (God of Death) who fights a Hollow.
The course of the fight leads Kuchiki to give his powers to Ichigo who then becomes himself a Shinigami. Now it’s his turn to protect the town of the Hollows.
However, with the Soul Reaper’s powers now a part of him, he must begin his training and duty as a Shinigami to maintain the balance between the world of the living and that of the dead.
Bleach is amazing, full of action, great characters, good stories, and a funny comedy.
2-The main characters
Ichigo Kurosaki is the main character in the Bleach series. He is a tall orange-haired high school student, Ichigo becomes a “Surrogate Soul Reaper” after inadvertently absorbing most of Rukia Kuchiki’s powers.
His character is described as stubborn, quick-tempered, wanton, and impulsive.
When it comes to fighting, Ichigo has a complex sense of honor, he regularly seeks revenge for the cruel actions of his opponent.
Rukia Kuchiki is a Soul Reaper who was originally born in a lower class. She retains her modesty, even as an adopted member of the nobility.
She is graceful and a member of the nobility yet chooses to speak to ordinary people. However, her cool and lonely behavior often forces her to hide her own problems, even from her friends.
Other main characters in the series are Inoue Orihime, Sado Yasutora, and Ishida Uryū, who play a very important role in Ichigo’s journey as a soul-reaper substitute, adding richness to the story with their own personalities, goals, and riches.
3-Is It Worth Watching?
Bleach is worth it, especially if you are a fan of the shounen or fighting anime.
The series is home to some amazing images, an intriguing plot, and its beautiful mix of action and bizarre comedy.
The series contains a lot of fillers that allow you to take a break from the serious plot and give supporting characters some screen time.
With an intriguing story and some unexpected plot twists along the way, Bleach keeps you thoroughly entertained.
4-My Opinion :
All in all, this is a show worth watching. If you like action then this is the show for you. If you like a unique and intricate plot then you might not enjoy it as much. The show has its good and its bad but the good far outweighs the bad in my opinion. It’s certainly not the best anime, but it certainly has a place on the front of the set.
