Levi Ackerman (リヴァイ・アッカーマン Rivai Akkāman^?), often formally referred to as Captain Levi (リヴァイ兵長 Rivai Heichō^?), is the squad captain (兵士長 Heishichō^?, lit. “leader of the soldiers”) of the Special Operations Squad within the Survey Corps and is widely known as humanity’s strongest soldier.

Levi is one of the strongest characters in Attack on Titan, especially when it comes to defeating titans. He’s got incredible skill on the battlefield and enough strategic intelligence to make him a formidable opponent — and that’s all without the deadpan, sarcastic personality that delivers dry humor to the anime’s audience.

He is voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Matthew Mercer and Mikaela Krantz as a child in the English version of the anime.
