The first season of Jujutsu Kaisen can easily be called a massive hit. Every episode sends waves of commotion throughout the fanbase. The anime series began broadcasting in October 2020. Ever since, people have fallen in love with the plot, graphics, and characters of this anime. Fans have been plunged into an obsession with this show because of its outstanding illustration.
With 21 episodes already in, it seems like season 1 of the anime is coming to a wrap. So, will there be a season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen? The answer to this is yes, there has to be. The fans of Jujutsu Kaisen will definitely demand a second season after the success of the first. With so many arcs still left out in the manga, it only makes sense that the anime will continue with another season to cover more volumes of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga.
When will the Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 release date be?
J-K is finally coming to an end. It has only three more episodes to go till it finishes up. Although it is quite disappointing for the fans of the anime, Jujutsu Kaisen will make up for it with the wholesome and fun moments in the remaining episodes, which will lead fans to ask for more. As for the second season, there has been no official announcement stating its release. The official Twitter account has made various comments about the upcoming episodes. There has been no discussion regarding the news of any new season.
On the other hand, The official JUJUTSU KAISEN anime announced that a movie based on the prequel manga JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 is coming this Winter. Studio MAPPA will handle the animation production.

The trailer itself is only 30 seconds long and is light on details, but it seems that the story will likely focus on the same plot as Jujutsu Kaisen 0, a prequel issue of the manga. In the prequel, the plot revolves around a few of the Jujutsu High students we know from the main series, as well as a new character, Yuta Okkotsu .

If that is the story the film is adapting, it would give fans some welcome backstory on characters like Panda, and Satoru Gojo, the series’ most powerful Jujutsu sorcerer, the most famous teacher at Jujutsu High, and the series’ breakout character from the anime’s first season.
J-K 0 will be released sometime this winter, according to Studio MAPPA, but the trailer and announcement website don’t have an exact premiere date yet.
